Thoughts for Each and Every Day

God We Trust Always

Prayer

Hello everyone,

I hope all is well.  Today is a new day to begin again with God's love and presence so Thank You Lord for allowing us to be here another day to share Your love.

God tells us when we pray to say the Our Father so we should always say that prayer and really reflect on the words because if we really listen to what we're saying and practicing those virtues, it's really giving us an opportunity to get closer to Him and to become more like Jesus.

In saying that, I would like to Thank God for all things and ask that He guides us, protect us, continue to give us wisdom and help us to understand His words and the purpose of living.

Lord, we all need You and we all have faults.  Thank you for forgiving us and always being there to lift us up when we're down and holding our hand to continue to  live.

Lord, please help those who are in distress and fill them with your grace so they would know who to turn to through the storms.  You said peace only comes from  You so help us God to always depend on You when we don't know where to go and show us how to become better people.

In Jesus Name we pray.  Amen and Amen

take care of yourself

It's very important that we work towards getting mentally and physically healthy.  The world is full of positive and negative energy and we have to know how to make our own decisions and do what's best for us so we can continue to serve the mission set by God.

It's so easy to listen to others but we all know who has our best interest and who doesn't by his or her actions and if we're not being observant with others, we may be led in the wrong direction and in turn put a pause on our lives.

Sometimes we're put in situations out of our control and sometimes we put ourselves in situations as well but it's very important to try to do the right thing by God because that's how we grow and be better people.  Sometimes when we don't know which way to turn, that's a time to trust God, pray and allow Him to guide you to do the right thing.

Mentally fit is when we gain a relationship with God and try and live through his lenses with wisdom, love , forgiveness and understanding.

At the same time, when we have a situation that we caused, we have to learn how to repent, ask for forgiveness from all parties and begin again.  Don't beat yourself up because it's done and you can make it better.

Physically fit is challenging as well because we wear so  many hats in life and sometimes we're busy and I'm challenging myself too to walk more and exercise because we're not getting any younger.  Remember what we put in our bodies is what we're going to get of out it.

Overall, let's take care of ourselves the best way we know how, don't get caught up with people who don't have your best interest but still  love and do it one day at a time so we can have a good mind and the ability to serve others like God directs us to do.

I love you.  Thank You Jesus and I love you too. Amen and Amen

Prayer of the day

Let’s follow the instructions in how The Lord asks us to pray.  He knows what we need before we ask Him.  Amen and Lord Thank You for all things and as You teach us in Matthew 6:5, let us all listen to Your words and pray together.

5 And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

9 “This, then, is how you should pray:
“‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
