God We Trust Always

Choose Love over anger

Sometimes love is hard to do especially when people hurt you.  It’s very important that we stay close and connected to God to be able to get through tough times like this on our journey.  It’s not easy to do because you want to speak your peace and at the same time, you want people to see the light in you. We all need improvement in this area because it all depends on the situation that will determine how we respond, when we respond and how long it will take us to get over the situation.

What I do know is we’re called to love, forgive and be understanding with our neighbor but we’re not called to place ourselves in bad situations that will distract us from serving God.  Sometimes these situations take time to heal and sometimes we have to step back.  At the same time, we have to have the courage to speak our peace and do it with love, integrity and humility.  When we do that, we turn in over to the other person to respond and react according to God’s teaching.

We should NEVER hold on to things or get stressed about what we have on our plate because God tells us to do what we can when we can and that’s all we can do.

Let’s not get caught up and build anger in any situation but speak our peace, pray and keep it moving. Anger turns into bitterness and leads to evil so let’s choose to love so that this doesn’t enter our soul.

Amen, Thank You Jesus and please read the scriptures below that talk about anger and the negative impact it could have on you.

Ephesians 4:26-31 26"In your anger do not sin": Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27and do not give the devil a foothold. 28Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need. 29Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. 30And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.

Psalm 37:8 8Refrain
from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret-it leads only to
evil.
