grace and mercy

In life, God gives us second chances all the time and we all have different journeys.  It is very important that we accept God’s grace and work on ourselves each day to be better people to serve and be at peace.

The second chances that God gives to us is wonderful because He really did not have to do that, but He did and sometimes He does it over and over again.  Some people do not get as many chances and this is why it is critical that we appreciate what we encounter on our journey each day good or bad.  The bad things help us to grow and the good things are blessings.   Of course, life is not going to be good all the time but let us take it as it comes and appreciate the second chance with whatever we encounter in life.

God loves us very much and He pours His grace on us each day.  His grace could be as simple as being able to see, hear, taste, smell, walk, talk, have food, shelter, clothes and so forth.  It is right in front of us and if we can breathe, it is only by the grace of God.  We never know what tomorrow may bring but if we deal with today and be thankful for today, it is showing gratitude for what God  has done in our lives.

In knowing how to be appreciative of things and accept God’s grace and mercy, we learn to allow God to work in our lives and that makes us stronger and wiser to serve one day at a time.  Each day is a new day and we need to take that into consideration, we will find joy in our hearts and learn how to allow God to give us peace when we practice humility.

Let us not lose out on the wonderful blessings by God but look in front and around us to see the wonderful things that God has done and is doing in our lives.  God is good all the time so let us not waste time worrying about things but thank God for the trials. Life is what we make of it and God gives us an opportunity to follow Him so that we can be happy, have joy, be at peace and give hope to the world through all things.
