Wisdom for the soul

Things happen in our lives all the time.  Sometimes the situations are good and sometimes they are bad.  We should never get discouraged about what happens in our lives but always stay positive and have faith that God is with us. Sometimes what appears to be bad  works out for the good because we get to see through another set of lenses in situations and it forces us to get it together.  God works through us and others so we have to trust Him and accept whatever comes our way.  Like I said before, life is not meant to be comfortable when we're serving the Lord but it's meant to be joyful and we get that when we pick up the cross and walk with Jesus.  Jesus already paid the price so keep your head up and know that he's holding your hand.  Don't let anyone tell you anything different but instead work towards building your relationship with God so you can nourish your soul and be at peace.
