As I witness what's happening around us and look at my life, I can't help but to think about how grateful I am to God for what He has done and is doing in my life and your life as well. God is a wonderful God and it's very important that we never forget what He's doing in our lives even when we're up against obstacles.
Sometimes it's the trials that we encounter that make us strong but I know that's easy to say until we're really in it. To be honest, I can't sugarcoat anything because life is real but we have to work towards becoming stronger and more wiser because the world is not about us. It's when we can see through God's lenses and act on what's best for us, is when we can get through the tough times. As you know, we all get weak at times too and I'm the first one to say I do as well but that's when we have to let go and let God because He's the one who gives us strength. I remember sometimes I was like "I can't take it", but when we turn to God, He works it out all the time. Thank you Lord. God has a plan for all of us. We don't know what that plan is but He so graciously allowed us to be a part of it and still be here. Each day is a blessing and these days are important to refresh our relationship with Him so that we're ready for the unexpected and ready for tomorrow because we don't know what tomorrow may bring. Amen

With everything going on, it’s really a blessing to still be able to do what we’re doing so in thinking about this Pandemic, it reminds me to reflect on the blessings and to pray for HUMILITY AND PEACE. I say HUMILITY because what we’re seeing today are families hurting, people getting into a financial crisis, people not knowing what to do or what’s coming and so much more. That could be one of us and this is why I chose to pray about Humility. We can’t take anything for granted and even though this too shall pass, we don’t know what tomorrow may bring. I remember hearing years ago on a retreat a priest saying “it’s never wise to get too comfortable and always be ready for the uncomfortable. I took that serious because we’re not in control and God has a plan. I say PEACE because it’s really crazy and in order for us to get through any of this, we have to know where to go to get strength and comfort. Peace doesn’t come from anyone else but God and we all need it so in saying that – Let us pray: Dear Lord Thank You for all that You do each and every day for us and our families. Thank You for Your Grace, Your love and Your Divine Mercy even through the crisis. Lord we see a lot going on right now but through all of this, we know that You’re in the midst of it all. Lord, please continue to guide us and show us how to be more HUMBLE today, especially today, so that we can learn to not take things for granted but learn to be a vessel for you to build the Body of Christ. Lord You know through all of this, we need peace because we hear so much negative things on the news and it’s impacting us all. We don’t know what tomorrow may bring so in not knowing and practicing our faith, please teach us how to have PEACE even in this most difficult time. Lord, we thank You for all things and in Jesus name we pray. Amen and Amen Because of the situation that we’re in today, we have an opportunity to evaluate our lives, think about our dreams and get closer to God. He, meaning God has given us the grace to think about things and to spend quality time with Him, ourselves and our families. Let’s utilize the blessing by accepting His Divine Mercy.
There are some who are going through tough times right now from the loss of loved ones, loss of jobs and so much more. It’s important that we understand that it’s real and to be cautious in what we do today, going forward and be sensitive to the need of others. I always say “we don’t know what tomorrow may bring” and this Pandemic is a perfect example of that and it’s showing us the importance of knowing who’s in control of it all. We all are unique in our own little way but we all are Children of God and He loves unconditionally and really wants the best for all of us. IT’S VERY IMPORTANT TO BUILD A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD, GET TO KNOW HIM AND THEN TASTE AND SEE THE GOODNESS OF OUR LORD. I can talk all day long about my relationship with God but I wouldn’t know where to start in sending spiritual or motivating words of wisdom if I didn’t’ have that relationship with Him. Even when we do have a relationship with God, it’s still wise to refresh the bond so that we’ll have the wisdom and understand how to cope in life with joy. We all need this because we all have faults, we all have good and bad days and we all have problems or trials and tribulations. This is why I send the daily inspirations as much as I can because it helps me to work towards staying on the right path and most importantly, it helps others so that all of us can have peace on our journey with whatever we encounter in life. Our relationship with God is helping us to deal with this Pandemic and to really know what's important. Let’s use this time to re-evaluate our lives, know that God is in the midst of everything that’s happening around us and know that His eye is still on the sparrow even in these times today. I pray and ask God to continue to bless us all and to guide us daily in dealing with today. Lord Thank You https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCfFi8SDz6I Amen This Coronavirus Pandemic is teaching all of us what life is really about. It’s not about materials things, not about job status, not about bank accounts, not about me or you but about knowing our mission, knowing how to walk on a good and decent path, knowing how to love and treat one another and knowing how to see through God’s lenses on our journey. That’s really all that matters.
We spend so much time trying to get this and that, so much time complaining about what people are doing and not focusing on using our talents to do what we can do, so much time being angry at our neighbor when we need to evaluate ourselves, so much time thinking life is about us, so much time worrying about tomorrow or what happened yesterday that we lose track of what life is really about and what is happening today. I’m not saying this is you but I’m sure we all fall under one of those categories on our journey. It’s very important that we understand the wisdom in that because if we want to have joy, peace and happiness, we have to understand what that really means. Life is short so let’s not be blind but open our eyes to see God’s Grace. Amen and Thank You Lord Life is all about choices and when we make choices in life, we determine our tomorrow or future. God gives us all of the tools to have joy in life and to be happy but He also gives us the opportunity to make our own choices on our journey.
Throughout the day, we make choices and we can’t blame others for the choices that we make in life. The core of good decision making and good choices is making sure God is the center of it all, try not to start drama, think about others and think about how to gain peace through choices and decisions that you make. God teaches us love, forgiveness, patience and so much more. We need to learn how to accept His grace so that we can make good choices and be able to live a comfortable life depending on Him. He said “Give Me Your Burdens and I Will Give You Rest”. What does that mean to you? Think about it and let's not put stress on our lives Let’s think before we act so we can have peace and build The Body of Christ. Amen and Thank You Lord God gives all of us second chances and each day is a new beginning. The days are short and this is why it’s very important that we refresh our relationship with God so that we can live a happy life. God gave all of us a heart to love. He showed us how to love by dying on the cross and He tells us in wisdom and understanding how to forgive and love unconditionally. It’s a choice whether or not to accept the grace that He offers to us and He gives us that opportunity every day. LET’S MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE.
Each day we awaken, we have a choice to have a good or bad day. It doesn’t matter what we go through, are going through or what we have on our plate, we still have that choice. We can complain, we can be angry or whatever we want to be or do but it all goes back to that choice and our attitude to be positive or negative. LET’S BE POSITIVE SO THAT WE CAN BE HAPPY IN LIFE. We all have problems and have to deal with tough situations at times but when we’re able to see the glory and God’s unconditional love, we’re able to see that life is not that bad. If we look at our situations negatively and think it’s bad, what do you think others are doing in their lives? This is why it’s important to love, forgive and when people see us holding on and being positive, they see Jesus and peace. WE ALL WANT PEACE. Let’s begin again, refresh our relationship with Jesus, be an example of Him so that others would see the light in us. Let’s work toward having a good heart and know that when others see the good in us, they see Jesus and always remember that Jesus is love. WE ALL NEED LOVE. LET’S REMEMBER: The heart is defined not by how much we love but by how much others love us. When we’re loved, we’re being that example and following the mission set by God. IT BRINGS PEACE AND JOY. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E62ZfiHiCYc Amen and Amen
My favorite memories about Easter and Holy Week One: As a child, all I can remember is dressing up, getting a new outfit, getting my hair done, dying eggs and eating lots of candy. That was the life and I wish I can go back. Those of you who don’t know, I grew up in a single-parent household and my mom had to work hard to take care of us so she didn’t really have time to tell us everything but she did teach us about Jesus and the importance of love by her actions. So I consider that being good teaching because she showed us rather than telling us the meaning of Easter and Holy week. Two: as I got older, that’s when the real meaning came into play. (The struggles) You know we all have problems and we’re on this journey trying our best to make it and sometimes it’s tough depending on the situation and what I’ve learned about Easter and Holy week is life is not about us, it’s not about material things, it’s not about titles but more about what we’re doing, how we’re allowing God to work in our lives and how we’re giving hope to the world. During my journey, I have encountered many things in my life that I didn’t understand and I thought I wasn’t able to make it through but I’ve learned that Jesus is Love, Jesus forgives and Jesus gives us peace so as an adult during this time I have an opportunity to refresh my relationship with him, remind myself to let go and let God and to begin again with his love. That takes faith and knowing the true meaning of His sacrifice. I’ve learned that God does miracles every day in our lives by allowing us to still be here, by allowing us to share in his glory and by loving us unconditionally. I’m 52 years old I think oh I stop counting but the bottom line is we don’t have much time here and we don’t know what tomorrow may bring - my dad passed at the age of 36 and I’ve already lived about 20 years pass him so you see it’s important that we understand our mission, our purpose and the call to give hope, be humble and have faith in our LORD. So Easter and Holy week to me are a blessing from God and a second chance to live and every time I think about my problems, I think about what he did for me and for us. My problems don’t even come close to his sacrifice. When we learn the importance of his Divine Mercy, we’re able to begin to live with peace and joy. That’s very important to me because life is not all good all the time and when we know of his love, we’re able to get through tough times because he has a plan for all of us. Finally, I ask all of you to pray for my mother doing this time because she’s dealing with lung cancer and actually pray for the entire family. In life, we all need strength when we’re in the storm and at the same time, let’s pray for each other that God helps us to find peace on our journey and through this Coronavirus Pandemic know that it’s all in the palm of His hands. Let’s not lose the faith but know that during this time, we can still win when we work together as one Body of Christ and trust in our Lord. God has helped me not to worry about what happened yesterday and see what’s in front of me today. Amen and Amen. During this Coronavirus Pandemic, we all are experiencing humility. I say that because we’re learning that it’s not about us, we’re learning that we have to wait on God’s call, we’re learning how to come together as a Body of Christ and we’re learning to keep still and think about our lives. Sometimes, life takes us by surprise and we don’t know what’s going to happen. This is why it’s very important to know that we’re blessed, know that we’re children of God and know that we’re here to serve and give hope to one another. There are many who have passed, there are many who are sick and there are many who are stressed over this entire situation. It’s tough and I pray that we all find some peace through this today. The good news is, God is still with us and even though it may not seem to appear that way from what we’re seeing and hearing, the truth is He is and He said He would never leave us. Let’s try our best by staying positive, practicing our faith by letting go and letting God, giving hope to one another and knowing that we’re blessed even through these challenging times. Stay humble and always remember that God with us through all of this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dGXu_khkr8 Amen and Thank Your Lord |
