Gratitude/Thanksgiving

As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving, let us take some time out and think about the goodness of our Creator and what He has done and continues to do in our lives.  It’s all about gratitude and being appreciative of the many blessings that we receive each day.

Thanksgiving is a time for love
To come together and to thank the Creator up above

For all that He Has done for us each and every day
We don't have to have much to appreciate life in a very special way

We all are here to hold each other hands and so much more
We have to know what's important like never before

Thanksgiving is about sharing and to give
Peace and hope in the world so we all can live
 
It's so crazy out here but the Creator has us in the palm of His hands
Don't give up but always get strength from the Lord to stand

Let’s be thankful for the many blessings we receive throughout our day
Let’s not let trials distract us or get in our way
 
Trials are temporary but when we put Him first, we see life in another way
Let's always be thankful each and every day

I would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.  We are so blessed to have family and friends and most of all the ability to live another day.  Please value time with your loved ones and know that you’re blessed.

If we really want to serve the mission set by God, we need to work towards getting to know Him better, pray, be humble and just know that life is not about us but most importantly looking at life through God's lenses.

The way to start looking through God's lenses is to put Him first and know we have to sacrifice in life because it's not about us but about God's children.  Let's pause and think about that statement for a minute.  

We all are on a journey, and we encounter different situations throughout our day.  Some situations are challenging but overall God is with us through it all.  If we can just trust Him, we will realize that all things are possible through Jesus.  We shouldn't be stressing or depressed because God said give Me your burdens and I will give you rest. Amen

Serving God is giving hope one day at a time and when we do that, we're following the mission.  Sometimes we get the short end of the stick but at the end of the day, we've done Gods work and we're allowing Him to work in our lives.

As I think about life, we all have faults, we all need Jesus, and we all need God to guide us to where He needs us to be so let's work towards getting closer to Him through prayer and be humble so that people can witness God's love and know that each day is a new day with new beginnings to serve.

When we love and be humble, we help others, and we build The Body of Christ so it's very important for people to witness Jesus in us.  

Let's continue to look and live like God wants us to and ask for His guidance so that we can make good decisions, grow in His name and be a true vessel.  Also, to have peace in our days and joy one day at a time. 

Hello everyone,

I hope all is well and you're having a good day.  I'm back and excited about sharing daily inspirations to everyone.  Over the past month, I've been thinking about life in how precious it is and how we have to cherish each and every moment.  Let's take time out and thank God for the many blessings that He so graciously gives to us each day.

As I meditated on life and appreciated God's grace, I realized how important it is to forgive and love. God has blessed us with His Divine Mercy and I had to  reflect on His goodness and thank Him for His grace.  Through all of this, I realized how important it is to forgive our neighbor because this life is all about giving hope and helping one another.  We all have faults and when we forgive, we show others Jesus and we give him or her a purpose to still want to be here. The important thing to remember about forgiveness is when we forgive, most of the time it helps us more than the person we're forgiving because when we don't forgive, our hearts get hard and we lose focus of the mission set by God.  People are really going through some things and we are too so let's be humbled and know that it's critical that we forgive to benefit all.  Some people spend their entire life, not forgiving and sometimes they don't know how, don't have the courage or just in a messed up space in their lives.  This is why we need to forgive to lend a helping hand even if we get the short end of the stick just do it and it will definitely make a difference in the world that we live in today.  For example, something happened in my life to someone close to me and they thought my intentions and actions were not good, so they stop speaking to me and thought I was a bad person.  I gave it some time because sometimes it's a time and place to do things.  After I spoke my peace, I let time heal.  They still didn't want to be involved in my life so what I did was opened the door again for us to communicate.  It really wasn't my fault but time allowed them to realize that but they knew the love was still there.  I was consistent to keep the communication open and eventually, they realize I was just loving and today we're in a better place.  What I'm saying is God can change situations and bring goodness out of everything.  I think we have a hard time forgiving sometimes because of our lack of faith and when we don't forgive we're condemning the other person and saying we don't have hope for that person.  Forgiveness is really an act of hope and when we do it, we set that person free from judgement but it's not only the other person who's being free it's also us.

Forgiveness is an act of love so when we forgive, we love so it's very important that we forgive and love because our mission is to be a disciple so think about this message and when we feel like we've been mistreated wrong, take advantage of the opportunity and show the world Jesus love.
