Sometimes it's hard to face reality or deal with things that hurt us. It's hard because we don't want to deal with the pain. 

I'm here to tell you that you should face your pain because if you don't, you will never heal and it will interfere with other things in your life.  We all don't like complications in life but when we handle things, we feel better and it gives us peace.  If you're going through something that  you feel ashamed about, someone hurt you or even if you  hurt someone, it's good to communicate so you can let it go.

Life is already stressful at times so there's no need to put more stress on yourself and besides, we're here to serve God so how can we do that if we're holding on to things that are putting a pause on our lives.

Let's face our truth so that we can be honest with ourselves and become better people as well as be at peace in our lives.  It would help us and others around as well. 

Amen and Thank You God

Sometimes life throws curves at you. However, there's one thing that I will never get away from is trying to live the mission set by God.

We all are human and the only thing we can hold on to is believing what Jesus said and that was live to be a disciple, love our neighbor as you would love yourself and forgive others as God forgives you. Now,  I know life gets crazy at times but that's what we have to always fall back on and that's real talk.

But in reality, it's hard when someone really hurts us.  To be real, we always have to trust God and give Him our burdens even when we hurt and at the same time have Joy in life.  If we really want to be an example, we have to do that through the good and the bad.

Thank You God

As we start our day, let us be reminded that each day is a blessing and a gift.  It doesn’t matter what we have on our plate, God is in the midst of it all.  He has a plan and always a way.
Lord please give us the strength to hold on when we are weak
 
As we encounter various situations in our lives, let us be reminded that we’re not in control and we don’t know God’s plan.
Lord please help us to trust you more each day to get through situations
 
As we live day to day, let us be reminded that God is working in our lives.
Lord please help us to be positive each day so that you can use us according to Your Will
 
As we interact with one another, let us be reminded that we all have things that we’re dealing with and we need to work towards being more of an example for you.
Lord please help us to think before we act in what we say and do
 
As we gather as The Body of Christ, let us be reminded that it’s not about us but about the people we are serving.
Lord please guide us so that we can continue to make a difference
 
As we balance our work and home life, let us be accountable for our own actions and take care of ourselves. 
Lord please help us to stay focused
 
As we go through trials and tribulations, let us be reminded of the Grace that God  so graciously gives us each day.
Lord please hold our hand through the good and the bad times
 
As we close in prayer, let us be reminded to be filled with gratitude for our Lord

It takes a lot of energy to be negative and being positive is a choice that we make every day.  God gives us that choice.  Every situation that we encounter, we have to look at it on a positive note because most of the time, things are out of our control so why be negative about it, why worry about it and we should just put it in God's hands.

I know we all are human and we do fall short sometimes with situations that make us a little sad but we have to know how to turn that around and don't stay that way.  God is a provider and it's such a blessing to learn from our mistakes and grow.  It doesn't matter if it's our fault, grow from that experience and move on.  We should never hold on to things or grudges but instead try and work things out and keep it moving. 

Being positive help us in so many ways.  It allows us to trust God, depend on Him and just enjoy life. God is working through all of us and sometimes we do have to sacrifice and get out of our comfort zone.  That's how we make a difference and that's how we build The Body of Christ.  We all are God's children and we have to learn how to have joy in the day with whatever comes our way, awaken knowing that we're blessed and when the trials come, give them to God.  Remember every battle that we go through is not ours, it's the Lords.  Be happy to know that there's a God because I know if it wasn't for God, my life would be different and I probably wouldn't be here.

Let's learn to keep a positive mind, make a choice to not be negative but turn it around and say "God Thank you and whatever trials you give to me, just give me strength to be able to handle".  The bottom line is we all need to put Him first and depend on Him every day because each day is  new and each day is a blessing.  Being positive will enhance your life, strengthen your heart and bring joy.  Being negative, does absolutely nothing for us and it breaks us down to nothing. Think about it.

Lord, Thank you so much for allowing us to have a positive mind to serve You and to give hope to one another.  Help us Lord to think before we act and please give us strength when we are weak.  Amen and Amen

Each day there are opportunities for improvement in our lives.  We encounter so much each day and if we value the moments, we'll see what I'm talking about.

I know life could get hectic and sometimes when we go through trials and tribulations we get stuck but we don't have to be stuck.  God tells us that nothing is impossible but we have to understand the importance of letting things go.  Whether it's a relationship, job or whatever, we should never feel like we're stuck.  It's just evaluating what we're doing, making the changes that need to be made, praying and TRUSTING GOD.

God doesn't want us to be unhappy but He wants us to have Joy. We have to receive the grace that He so graciously gives to us each day in order to make things better.  He said Give me your burdens and I will give you rest.  He said we're nothing with out Him.  He said peace only comes from Him.  In knowing all of that, what are we doing?  WE NEED TO VALUE EACH DAY AND ALLOW GOD TO WORK IN OUR LIVES.

Each day is a choice to have a positive mind, positive attitude and to receive God's grace.  Whoever we encounter doing our day, we should embrace that, learn from others and take advantage of the time that God has allowed us to be here.

What I'm saying is - We really don't have time to be stressing about nothing, we don't have time to deal with negative stuff that's bringing us down and we don't have time to get caught up thinking we're trapped.  Let's take advantage of the day, not worry about yesterday but taste and see the goodness of our Lord. Each day is a new day, a new beginning and a new life.  God is good so let's continue to give him our burdens and thank Him for all things because I'm telling you when we depend on God, put Him first and praise Him, the blessings come down.  If you think about it, that's all we have is the day because we don't know what tomorrow may bring. Be appreciative of the blessings that we encounter each day and take advantage of the opportunities that we're given by God.

Amen and Thank you so much Lord. 

In life, God gives us lessons so that we can get to the next level.  This is why it's important to take care of things so that we can become better people and do what we need to do for God.

Most of the time, we don't get to that next level because we're holding on to stuff and can't let go of things.  I always say we have to take care of ourselves, do what we can by God so that He can see us doing our part.  It's when we don't complete that lesson, we don't learn and really will not be able to handle a bigger responsibility. 

Let's learn to complete the lessons in front of us like loving  our neighbor, forgiving one another and being humble or whatever come your way.  If we all look at our lives, we all had and have lessons everyday and it's up to us to own things so that we can move to the next level.

Let's not put a pause on our lives but learn to grow to move to bigger and better things.

Amen and Thank you Jesus

We all have things that we're dealing with and it's almost like all of us are walking with wounds.  

It brings tears to my eyes because no one wants to talk about healing or try to better situations, they just think about themselves.  People are hurting and when God wants to use us, we turn the other way. 

Lord  help us  

Time is limited for all of us and I think we spend so much time doing things that don't matter.  We all are called to be holy and I feel like God told us that for many reasons.  1)It gives us peace 2)It helps others to see Jesus in us 3) It helps us to be more humble 4) It helps us to grow. 5) It gives hope to others and 6) It keeps us focused so we can serve God.  There are so many more reasons but this is why we need to value our time, spend it wisely and be the peacemakers of the world.

If our goal is to be holy, we need to not think about ourselves and put God first.  That means sacrificing, doing things out of our comfort zone and working towards being that person for God. (That will give us peace and all will see Jesus in us)  We lack in many areas and I know in  my life, I try to recognize my weaknesses and do what I think God wants me to do to grow(That means being humbled in the process). Sometimes I fail but this is why we need each other to lift up and bring hope.  When problems arise and we need to make amends, it's very important to forgive if we're at fault and if we're not, still ask to talk about things to clarify.  I'm saying this because when we humble ourselves whether we're right or wrong and talk about things, it shows humility and the desire to make things right.  When we refuse to discuss things, it shows lack of care because we really don't know what that person is going through or dealing with at that time.  We all are called to Love and when we love and do what we know we're suppose to do, it keeps us focused towards holiness.

Sometimes we act out of anger and think that we're hurting others but in reality, when we don't forgive and don't humble ourselves so that people can see Jesus in us, we're really  hurting ourselves.  This is why we have to look at how we're spending our time, what's important and how we can become more holy on our journey because, real talk, we live and we die and we don't know what tomorrow may bring.

Let's re-evaluate what we're doing with our time, use it to make a difference in own lives and the lives of others and accept God's grace with compassion, appreciation, integrity and respect for all that He has done and is doing in our lives. 

Amen and Thank You Lord

 Dear Lord,

As we awaken to a new day, thank you for all that you've done and are still doing in our lives.  You have given us life and the ability to live day after day even through our faults.  Your love is unconditional and I hope and pray that you guide all of us to be what you want us to be.

Lord even if we don't say "thank you" out loud, you know what's in our hearts and minds.  You are the core and the rock of everything and like you said without you, we are nothing.  I think most of us have experienced that and know how important it is to stay connected to you.

I just wanted to take this time out to say "thank you again" because it's so wonderful to have someone who loves us and teaches us things that will give us peace and help us on this journey. 

We really can't do it without  you.  Please continue to bless us, even the people who are mad at the world or each other, please guide them as well in the right direction. Guide us too God because sometimes we think we know what's  happening but we don't.  We all are in this together to build The Body of Christ so please help us all to stay on track, stay  humbled and continue to treat people the way we want to be treated.  We love you very  much.  Happy Thanksgiving Lord and Thank you for all things.  Amen and Amen

As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving tomorrow, let us take some time out and think about the goodness of our Lord and what He  has done and is continuing doing in our lives.  Please read the poem below and give God some praise.  Thank you Lord.

Thanksgiving is a time for love
To come together and to thank God up above

For all that He Has done for us each and every day
We don't have to have much to appreciate God in a very special way

We all are here to give hope and so much more
We have to know what's important like never before

It's so crazy out here but God has us in the palm of His hands
Don't give up but always get strength from the Lord to stand

This is just a token to give back what God has given to me
Always know that you have to trust Him you see

Trials are temporary but when we put Him first we see life in another way
Let's always be thankful each and every day
