We have to always be thankful for the good and the bad because we don't know God's plan and we have to always have faith that God is guiding us to where we need to be.  Also, there's a lot of humor into accepting situations that we can't control and even situations that we can still be thankful.  God is still in control of it all so let's never lose focus on God's presence, His love and His mercy and let's always make God apart of our everyday living through Prayer and Thanksgiving.  Amen 

God gives all of us an opportunity to be a peacemaker but it's up to us to make that happen.  Being a peacemaker is not just talking through things but it's also about loving and going above and beyond to show the other person where our hearts are in a situation.  The good thing about doing our part when we go the extra mile is we're being examples of Jesus but if we don't get a good response from people when we go above and beyond, that's when we have to still love but leave it alone.  People can say all kinds of things and don't mean a thing because when their actions conflict with their words, you know they don't mean it but let's not get distracted by other peoples actions but still show love, forgiveness and always pray for others as well as ourselves.  We all are sinners but we can try one day at a time to love our neighbor and forgive those who hurt us.  Amen

God puts His grace on us all the time but it's up to us to receive what He gives to us. It's very important to take one day at a time and really find some quality time with God.  Each day is filled with Love from God and grace that He pours on us all the time.  However, when we're so caught up with things that are not important, we lose focus and unable to see Gods divine mercy.  The fact that we're still here through all the mess, the fact that we can awaken to another day and the fact that we have shelter and friends and family are signs of Grace.  The negative things that we hear on the News and from others are evidence that we're blessed.  Let's spend some quality time with God so we can begin to taste and see his goodness and able to witness His love one day at a time in our lives. Tomorrow is never promising but God's grace in always with us each day. Amen

Hello family,

I have been on vacation for two weeks and I just want to take this opportunity to thank God for allowing me to have that time.  I think sometimes we take things for granted and don't acknowledge the goodness of our Lord.  This vacation has allowed me to think, see things from the outside and really pin-point some things that I need to do.  Lord Thank You and please continue to guide me and all of us in the right direction. Amen.
