Hello everyone,
I hope you have a good day and enjoy the weekend. It’s so wonderful to be loved by God and able to live knowing He’s always with us. It brings tears to my eyes sometimes because He’s been so good to me even through my faults and I’m always amazed of His grace. As I think about Advent and the coming of Jesus Christ, one word comes to my mind and that’s hope. We all need hope, the mission is to give hope and God so graciously fills us with it all the time. Let’s always know that we can get hope from God through all situations. Hope is something we gain and it’s a feeling of expectations. We need hope every day because we don’t know what tomorrow may bring and we have to be able to get through things by having hope through it all. If we think about our mission, it’s all about allowing our light to shine so we can give hope to the world and we need it as well each and every day. Life is basically living one day at a time, not knowing what will happen in any given day so it’s very important that we gain hope through Jesus Christ. Our lives are what we make of it but sometimes we encounter situations that are hard to get through and this is when hope comes into play. Also, in witnessing others go through things, they need hope as well and we as Christians should be an example of hope by our compassion and love. We should want the best for people as we do for ourselves and it’s very important that we take time out to listen to others because most of the time, people are reaching out for hope. I always say when life gets too comfortable it is not good because we’re here to serve and it’s when we’re uncomfortable, we see the works of God. Let’s continue to serve, give hope and receive God’s grace so that we can be the person that God has called us to be on our journey. This is what Advent is all about, preparing for the coming of Jesus Christ and we can start by giving hope and gaining it as well. Please take time out to read the poems below as well as listen to the words of God regarding hope and the beautiful song on the link that relates to these words of wisdom. Amen LISTENING Taking time out for people is something we must do Because we may need a hug or two We all go through things and sometimes it’s hard Listen to people and stay on guard In knowing that everybody needs a hand Once in a while to help them stand Listening is learning to help us to grow In some area that I do know God sends us messages to teach us things To show us all the good that He brings We are here for a reason please understand God is moving you, listen to others and hold their hand You never know what you may hear Sometimes the words are for you my dear Thank God for allowing you to hear those precious words Everybody needs a chance to be heard. Listen to others and know that God speaks through people. ROMANS 12:15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. HOPE H is for happiness to know that there’s always hope O is for optimistic to want to live even when things are bad P is for patience to keep still when you go through pain E is for endurance to keep you going when it’s tough Have hope and enjoy all that life brings to you. 1 PETER 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jQiuZdOvbM Amen and Thank You Lord

Hello everyone,
I hope you all are good and let’s remember that this is a new day with new beginnings and to me a new life. Each day is a new life because God has given us another chance to live. We all are living different journeys with the same mission and God gives us choices to live the way we want to live it. He teaches what’s good and not so good for us so that we can have joy even in the most difficult times of our lives. We learn as we grow, and we learn as we encounter situations or go through the struggles of life. We all were raised different and it’s all about what we were taught, what we had to deal with in life, how we perceived things as adults and if we accepted God’s grace. Sometimes situations are tough to deal with and it’s only by the grace of God that we can get through obstacles. None of us are perfect and we all mess up sometimes. When we do wrong, people try to tell us do this and do that and most of the time, they are not doing things that are right themselves. They try to tell us to change our lives or repent but to be honest, we all need to better our lives each and every day before we try and tell others how to live theirs. We also have to see or identify our own faults within before we can get better or help anyone else. We all have some repentance to work on but let’s fix our own mistakes first. In Matthew 7:1-5 God said “Stop Judging, that you may not be judged. For as you judge, so will you be judged, and the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you. Why do you noticed the splinter in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the wooden beam in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, let me remove that splinter from your eye while the wooden beam is in your eye? You hypocrite, remove the wooden beam from your eye first; then you can see clearly to remove the splinter from your brother’s eye. All I’m saying is let’s love more and not judge, but take care of ourselves first then we can serve better and change the world. Let’s work together to better the entire Body of Christ not just find faults in others when we should be working on the faults within. Again, we all need to repent in some area but let’s work towards doing it right so that we don’t find ourselves doing the same thing over and over again. We all are on the same boat trying to be the best that we know how so let’s have patience with one another and help each other not tear each other down. We all make mistakes, but the goal is to be a disciple to serve and the only way to do that is to work on ourselves first so that we can still rise when it’s all said and done. Life is not about mistakes that we’ve made but more about how we bounce back, ask for forgiveness (if the wrong doing is done to someone else) and get up with integrity after we’ve messed up. Let’s make sure we refresh our relationship with God so that we always have the flavor to serve. (See the word below that relates to this statement). Please listen to the word of God below, as well as the poem about mistakes and the beautiful song at the end “Still I rise” on the link. Thank you and Amen Luke 14: 34-35 Salt is good, but if salt itself loses its taste, with what can its flavor be restored? It is fit neither for the soil nor for the manure pile; it is thrown out. Whoever has ears to hear out to hear. Mistakes We all mess up in life from mistakes that we make Let’s be real. Let’s not be fake Don’t think you have to be perfect for anyone God made you for his purpose until it’s done We were born sinners there are going to be mistakes We just have to get to know Jesus before it’s too late Some of us who know Jesus fall short as well Because the devil is all around and I’m sure you can tell You will find yourself making the same mistake over and over again If you don’t get close to Jesus, you will never win When you do wrong, don’t beat yourself up in anyway Try again, stand up tall and say “God please make me stronger the next time around” He will give you the strength & a peaceful sound He will tell you to grow & learn from your mistakes Move on with life for your sake He said I love you and it will be okay I forgive in each and every way Continue to live when you fall Just let me guide you to seek your call. Mistakes help us to grow. Learn from your mistakes and move on in life. HEBREWS 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.
