We must learn how to walk through the storms of life.  If you want to enjoy your life and be at peace, this is something you must learn to do.  We’ve learned that we all have a journey.  We don’t know where the road is going to end but we need to try and be happy with each day that we have.  God put us here for a reason.  When we go through trials, we always benefit.  We will never go any further in our lives if we can’t go through pain. 

God is trying to make us strong and ready to challenge whatever comes our way.  It’s just like trying to win a marathon.  If you get tired and stop, you will lose the race.  If you fall when bad things happen to you, you will lose the fight.  The devil will knock you down.  I don’t care what situation you’re going through, always know that God is preparing you.  Life’s not going to get easier.  Things are getting harder and you will always have bad situations in your life.  I told you before that we’re in a spiritual warfare.  You have to prepare yourself.   When you do this, you will be able to handle any situation that comes your way.  I’ll tell you it’s a good feeling to be at peace with every situation in your life.  You can enjoy life more when you know who’s holding your hand.  Sometimes the storms are so bad that we don’t think we can take anymore. 

Let me tell you something.  God gave us the Holy Spirit and the power to get through anything.  Don’t let anybody tell you that you can’t handle situations that come in your life.  You see the devil is so slick that he sends people to hurt us and put us down.  Don’t let that happen.  Let me share with you why I know we can get through anything.  God loves us so much that he sent his son to show us that we can get through bad situations.  Before, I use to ask God.  “Why did Jesus come?”  I didn’t understand why he loved us so much that he sent his son.  God revealed something to me that really made me realize that I can challenge anything that comes my way.  Jesus came into the world as a human to show us how to live.  He was tempted by the devil and still survived.  The devil tests us all the time.  Before they nailed him to the cross, he had to pick up the cross and walk.  He was in so much pain.  We do the same thing.  Trials come our way and we have to know how to walk with the cross.  When Jesus was walking with the cross, he fell.  He still managed to get back up and start again.  This is what we need to do.  Every time trials come our way and we fall, we need to get up and start over. 

There was also a time when Veronica helped him and wiped his face.  Sometimes in life other people help us get through situations.  This is why we need to interact with people.  After that, they persecuted him and nailed him to the cross.  He received the victory.  He rose again and went to heaven.  That’s why Jesus said we have to pick up the cross and walk.  When we know that God is preparing us for our destination, we will walk through any storm with our head held high.  The key is: knowing why we’re here and where we trying to go.  If you we know that, life wouldn’t be so hard for us.  Every time I go through a storm, I know that God is working in my life.  You see, we have to go through pain to grow.  You will never learn how to fight the good fight if you don’t know how to walk through the storms.  Sometimes when we try and stand firm, it seems like nothing is happening.  I’ll tell you, you have to have patience and live with whatever comes your way.  If you do this, you will always get through any storm that comes your way.

Dear God,

Thank you so much for allowing us to be here another day.  You are such a wonderful God and we love you very much.  Words  just can't express the appreciation that we have for you.  Please continue to  help us get closer to you and help us to make wise decisions so we can have peace and the ability  to get through tough situations.  As you know, it's so crazy out here but we know that you're still in control.  We're definitely in a spiritual warfare and we need  your grace everyday to keep our minds right and have the ability to live again. 

You teach us so  many things and when we see things through your lenses, we become better and more wiser to serve you.  At the same time, knowing how to be a child of God with  humility, respect and integrity.  We all need you Lord so much. 

This journey is real and the purpose is to serve you, try our best to become more like you each day, give hope to people, allow our light to shine and most importantly work towards making it to Heaven.  Lord as we begin a new week, please guide us in the right direction, continue to teach us what's really important and thank you for all things.  In Jesus Name We Pray.  Amen and Amen

You know life is really a journey.  We all have a journey to live.  We have to know how to be happy with our journey.  I’ve seen people come and go and God still allowed me to be here.  That’s special to me and I just thank God for giving me another day.  You know we do a lot of things to ourselves.  We bring on the stress and we make our own lives miserable.  I say that because we always want things to happen the way we want them to happen.  We need to learn that on this journey we have to have patience. 

I told you before that it’s not our world.  Let’s talk some common sense.  If it’s not our world, whose making the calls?  God makes the calls so why are we being impatient.  We’re just not going to get what we want all the time.  Some things that we want aren’t good for us anyway.  Think about your life and some of the things that you have done.  Somethings you probably don’t even know how you got out of.  WE HAVE TO HAVE PATIENCE. 

It seems like we have patience with other people but don’t have patience with God.  For example, when you’re at a get together or at a party, don’t you allow the host to run the show?  You have patience and you take it for what it is.  You sit back, relax and still enjoy yourself.  Why can’t we live life this way?  When we were born, we entered Gods house.  Let him do his thing and run the show.  He wants us to enjoy ourselves and have a joyful mind but we have to respect him and have patience.  I’ll tell you; having patience is such a gift because life involves people. 

I try to live my journey each day as a child of God.  I really enjoy living and which ever way I turn on my journey, I know who’s with me.  The devil is always testing me and he sends people to try and bring me down or go the wrong way but that’s okay.  I know how to allow people to be who they want to be and keep on walking.  Always remember while you’re on your journey that God is right beside you.  So when things get tough, have patience with God and stand still.  God is always with you and don’t you ever feel that you’re alone.
 
PATIENCE
 
Patience is keeping still
We shouldn’t act out of what we feel

My brethren, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering and patience.

Happiness comes when you know how to become a child of God.  You will never be happy if you don’t know how to be dependent on God.  I’m talking about asking God for guidance, going to God when you have problems and answering him when he calls.  When we were children, we obeyed our parents and we go to them for advice.  We depend on them for shelter, food and clothing.  We even depend on them for money.  This is how we have to be for God.  God is our father and if we don’t become a child of God, we will have a difficult time dealing with situations.  I say that because we’re living for ourselves and we try and make ends meet from our ability.  It’s difficult because we just don’t have the strength. 

When we live for ourselves, we get caught up in earthly treasures or should I say worldly things.  It’s okay to have luxury things if you can be happy with the simple things in life.  God blesses us all the time and if we don’t know how to humble ourselves, we will fall.  We just spend too much time storing up ungodly things.  This is why we have so many problems in life. 

The devil knows exactly what you want and your desires.  He gives you those things and when you think you’re happy, he comes in to disappoint you.  This is a crazy world because you can have everything one day and nothing the next.  I know this guy who had everything; big home, cars, trailers, swimming pool, business and money.  He lost it all.  After 30 years living this way, he had to live in a trailer.  He was very humbled though because he knew where all those things came from.  Yes, the devil tested him but he still knew how to live with nothing.  He accepted things for what it was and that allowed God to work through him.  Many of us can’t do this because we’re living for ourselves.

Becoming a child of God also prepares us for tough situations.  When we depend on him, we know that he’s guiding us.  In knowing that, how could we lose?  Even when things get tough, we know that he’s preparing us for our destination.  That’s powerful and that’s how we have to learn to think.  Think like this and the devil will never be able to touch you. 

When you become a child of God, happiness will come and you will find yourself loving life.  Humble yourself and depend on God for all your needs.  You don’t have to worry about things any more.  He’s watching over you.  I know for me I was living and trying to get this and that and not being dependent on God.  I spent years living that way.  A lot of my problems I brought on myself and I found myself worrying about unnecessary things in life.  I definitely wasn’t happy.  Once I humbled myself, I learned to live with what I had and if other things came I knew God was just blessing me.  If not, I was fine. 

We also need to stop thinking that we’re better than other people.  This happens a lot.   Just because we have more than others that doesn’t mean we’re better than others.  We have to learn how to accept people for who they are and love them unconditionally.  This is why God said you can’t serve money and me.  Money is a powerful thing and when we focus on that too much, we lose the focus of serving God.  Let’s be real.  We would love to have money and be stabled but we have to know that if God takes it all away, it’s okay.  That’s what I’m talking about.  I believe there are many good & humbled people out there who have money.  I respect them because that’s beautiful in knowing that they know where it came from.  Humility is a wonderful quality and if you have it, you will be happy and at peace.  Think about that and know that becoming a child of God plays a major role on your journey.

Each day of our lives is different.  It’s different because one day we’re happy and others days we’re not.  That’s just how we function.  If we want to be happy with all situations that we encounter, we have to grow in God.  This means developing a relationship, choosing to follow him and knowing how to fight the battle.  We need wisdom and understanding in order to grow in God.  You know, some things are just too difficult for us to understand and sometimes we’re just not going to understand God.  However, if we allow God to give us wisdom, we will learn how to live life to the fullest. 

Wisdom is definitely a gift.  In order to get through life happy, you have to understand life.  Life is understanding who God is and what he has planned for your life.  Understanding life is trusting God to help you live each day.  We just don’t have the strength to do it ourselves.  We all need to survive the day.  We just can’t survive if we don’t grow in God.  It’s all about survival. 

Have you ever been through a situation where you thought you just didn’t have the strength to survive?  You’re probably going through something right now.  Give it to God and take time to grow in his name.  Spend some time with him and really let him know what you’re feeling.  He’s waiting for you so don’t spend any more of your time worrying about anything that you’re going through.  He wants to take all of that away so that you can serve him.  Grow in his name and you will feel happy with your life. 

WISDOM
 
Wisdom only comes from God
If you don’t have wisdom, life will be hard
 
All of us have been given life
For a purpose and to fight the fight
 
The fight for God to walk with the cross
We have to know who’s in charge and who’s the boss
 
The boss is God.  He helps us all
To get through life and to stand up tall
 
It’s not easy to hold the cross and walk
Because the devil is on a mission and he does talk
 
The devil will tell you all kinds of lies
So that you will get stressed and not rise
 
To the top in doing what God wants you to do
His will, you know that’s true
 
I know sometimes you feel down
Wisdom will lift you up and turn that around
 
It will allow you to smile when things are tough
And teach you how to have joy through all life stuff
 
If you have a desire for peace in your life
Ask God for wisdom and be prepared to fight
 
Life challenges when you go through pain

PROVERBS 2:2
 
So that you incline your ear to wisdom,  And apply your heart to understanding;

We are definitely in a battle between God and the devil.  Why do you think life gets stressful?  The devil is working you in every angle he can.  Don’t allow him to win.  We already know who’s going to win the battle but God has a plan to show the devil his way.  We’re here to do his works.  In order to win in this warfare, you have to prepare yourself for storms.  Let me tell you something:  God has blessed me with a message that’s so powerful that I just have to share it with you.  He told me that each day is a new life and in order to enjoy this new life, you have to leave yesterday behind.  Thank you Jesus. 

He said let’s deal with today.  We have to get to the point where we can enjoy the day and able to take on anything that comes our way.  Life comes with a package and in order to deal with it all, you have to be able to deal with what’s in the package.  You can’t win if you don’t know how to fight the battle.  There are so many people who are losing out on life because they can’t handle what’s in the package.  When problems arise, everything falls and life is on a pause.  People have the same routine; no accomplishments and they allow stress or the devil to control their lives.  The package that we carry is full of things that help us to be strong in situations.  Things like stress, pain, dealing with different personalities, failure, and disappointment are some of the things in the package.

Let’s go back a little.  I’m going to tell you how you can prepare yourself to handle all things that come your way.  You can win the battle if you’re prepared.  First of all, God gave you a life to serve him.  In order to serve him, you have to know how to win the battle.  This means knowing who the enemy is and where to go to get strength to keep fighting.  Remember we’re here for God.  He’s on our side and we have the advantage.  If we’re living for God, we will know that everything that comes our way is preparing us for our purpose.  If you know that, you will know how to fight the battle.  That’s the key.  Accept all things and thank God for the trials.  This is a tough world but we can enjoy life if we’re prepared.  God tells us that he doesn’t give us anything that we can’t handle.  So that means stand firm and when bad things come your way, give it to God.  Do that and you will always come out blessed.  The devil is working 24 hours a day and if we’re not ready for him, we will fall.  We fall into those cracks when we’re not prepared.  We get stressed, sad and lazy.  We can’t serve God when we’re that way and we definitely can’t enjoy life.

PREPARATION
 
Life is a gift to all of us from God
Let’s learn how to deal with life it’s not hard
 
Jesus died on the cross for us all

Other people the gift that was given to us
The gift of life but you have to be strong, you must
 
You can enjoy every moment and all that it brings to you
But you must get to know the Lord in order to enjoy life too

Walk with faith; the Lord is with you in all situations

What I'm saying is live your life and be prepared for the worst
You will be able to handle pain with the proper source

The source is God.  He is our reverend
He helps us get through all things and make it to heaven.

Prepare yourself for challenges by preparing yourself for the worst.

Each one of us has been given this life to live by God.  It’s our choice to live.  It’s a precious gift and we really should cherish and thank God for living.  If we want to enjoy the gift that we were given, we have to make the choice to be happy through it all.  Sometimes it’s not that easy because situations that we go through are tough.  I’ll tell you if you had any experiences like I’ve had, you know what I’m talking about.  There were times in my life when I just wanted to give up and leave everything behind.  This happened because I didn’t have that relationship and I didn’t make the choice to get to know God.  Each day we make decisions.  Sometimes they are right and sometimes they are wrong.  Either way, we still have to deal with the decisions that are made.

Many times we do things without thinking and eventually it hurts us down the road.      For example, when I was 18, I got pregnant and didn’t go to college after high school.  I made that decision.  I didn’t think about my future or my child’s future.  After I gave birth to my daughter, I had to work & work to provide those basic needs.  I went to school, worked and raised a daughter all at the same time.  I was stressed to the max.  So, you can imagine how I felt.  I didn’t have a relationship and my choices were not the best choices.  Be careful in the decisions that you make and you will be happy in the long run.

There’s one choice that we all need to make and that’s choosing to know God, keeping a relationship with him and communicating with him on a daily basis.  This was said because this is not our world.  This is God’s world and if we think differently, we’re going down the wrong road.  Some of us think that it’s our world and we’re living for ourselves.  We think we can handle every situation that comes our way.  We learn that we can’t when life becomes too much to handle.  We get depressed and think we can’t cope anymore.  Life would be so much easier if we make wise choices and allow God to guide us.

I know temptation is all around us but when we choose to get to know God we will be able to resist some of those moments.  If you fall, at least you know where to go to stand up again.  If you can’t stand up again, you will not be able to fulfill your mission or be happy with life.  We all make mistakes but when we choose God we will learn how to overcome and learn from our mistakes.  When you make bad choices, who lifts you up when you fall?  You may get up but one day you may fall so hard that it will be difficult to stand.  Only the grace of God will be able to help you. 

Sometimes we allow stress to take over our lives and we think the world is coming to an end.  Only because we didn’t choose to know God.  God can do miraculous things and you will be amazed at what he can do in your life.  Sometimes when we follow God, it’s not the easy way out.  This is why some of us don’t choose God.  When we follow ourselves, we tend to make decisions to make our lives & other people lives more pleasurable.  We think when we do this we can still be happy.  That’s not true.  You may be happy for a while but eventually you will have headaches after headaches after headaches. 

Life is a challenge and when we follow God, we’re challenging ourselves to look beyond the present situation and focus on the overall purpose of life.  Selfishness leads to unhappiness and sacrifice leads to inner peace.  Isn’t that what we want in life, to be happy and at peace?  That’s what I want in life.  What do you want?

As we prepare for Christmas there are things that we must think about in our lives and the first thing is our relationship with God, knowing who He is and the importance of having him in our lives.

Having a relationship with God will help you enjoy your life.  I’m not saying just knowing God exist.  I’m saying having a personal relationship with Him by knowing who he is and what he’s all about.  I have never ever had or known a better friend than God.  He’s always available and he always takes time out to listen to me.  That’s a friend and that’s a friend you can count on.  Not only is he a friend, he has the power to help us get through all things.  You know, we develop relationships all the time and some of them come and go.  This is one relationship that will always be the same.  We all need someone to talk to and it’s wonderful to have someone to rely on when we really need to talk.  Before I met God, I use to spend a lot of my time worrying, responding negative towards others when they upset me and unable to handle tough times.  My relationship with God has helped me love people unconditionally and deal with life.  It’s a special feeling to know that Gods always there for me.  Yes, life is a struggle but when you develop a relationship with God and know what he’s all about, you will be able to give your burdens to him. 

How do you get to know God?  You get to know God through the Bible and through prayer.  It’s just like developing a relationship with anyone else.  You spend time with them and you listen to what they have to say.  That’s all you have to do to know God.  Take time out.  God is the one who gave us life so how can you not take time out for him.  The bible is a mystery and we may not understand everything we read.  This is why it’s important to pray.  Pray for wisdom and ask God to give you the understanding that you need to know him.  There are so many people who are interpreting the bible to be what they want it to be.  The most important message that you can receive from the bible to me is: knowing that God loves you, knowing how to prepare yourself when the devil comes your way and knowing that you can depend on him walking with you on your journey.  I’ll tell you words just can’t express how my happiness comes from having a relationship with God.  It’s amazing.  God tells us that we’re his children & he will be with us even when we mess up in life.  That’s beautiful.  We all have a mission to fulfill so don’t think you don’t have a reason to be here.  In fulfilling that mission, there’s pain and joy.  You will never fulfill your mission if you don’t develop a relationship with him and allow him to work in your life. 

I know life is busy and we get caught up in our world but taking time out for God is something we must do.  If you don’t have time to get to know God, you are definitely on the wrong track.  You will have no joy and you will find yourself miserable.  If this is you, you really need to evaluate your life.  We waste too much time worrying about things and depending on other people.  We need to stop leaning on others and lean on the one who helps us cope in life.  That’s the truth.  Allow God to work through you by developing a relationship with him.  You will learn to be happy and take life as it comes to you.

John 15:5
I am the vine, You are the branches, whoever remains in me and I in Him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing.

I've decided to make the daily inspiration on Sundays to be a prayer.  I think this is best because it's very important to pray together for God to continue to bless us, guide us and fill us with His Grace.  I know in some places the times are different so if this applies to you, it's okay if it's not Sunday there yet because it's never a bad time to talk to God and to be in prayer.  Let us pray.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your mercy, love, forgiveness and grace. We are nothing without you and over and over again you continue to take care of us and give us second chances.  Lord we all need you so much and you know what we are going through.  As you know, we all are different, we all have problems and most of the time, we are just trying to hold it together for the best of our families and ourselves.  Sometimes it's hard but through it all, you tell us to hold on, give you our burdens and have joy through it all.   Please continue to help us with that.  We also know that trials help us to grow and in James 1:2 you said "consider it all joy,  my brothers, when you encounter various trials.  We're trying to the best of our ability to hold on and walk on Faith.  We do trust you God and at times when it appears that we're doubting, please make us strong because we know that in John 14:6 you said I'm the way, the truth and the life.  So no other way is the right way. 

Each day we need your help for strength to get us through.  We know you will because in 2 Thessalonians 3:3  you said but the Lord is faithful, He will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.  Thank you Lord 

Lord we really appreciate everything you do and today we're asking you to continue to pour your grace on us and  help us.  You said in Matthew 7:7 ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find; knock and the door will be open to you so we're asking Lord to strengthen us, bless us as well as steer us in the right direction to make our lives better so that we can be at peace.

Lord, situations in life have put some of us in bitterness and anger so we need help to get all of that removed because as you say in Ephesians 4:31 All bitterness, fury, anger, shouting, and reviling must be removed from you, along with malice.  As you can see God, it could get crazy if we don't get help.

Lord, help us all and please forgive us for everything that we've done or will do because you  know us better than we know ourselves.  You said in Hebrews 8:12 For I will forgive their evildoing and remember their sins no more so help us to start new so that we're not stressed with life but have joy in life.  In 2 Corinthians 4:16 you said Therefore, we are not discouraged; rather although our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.

Lord thank you so much and I have to share with all of you that God is truly a blessing and even writing this wisdom today, it helped me to trust Him more and gave me a good spirit to work with on this day.  We all are blessed and God loves all of us so much and even though I don't know who's reading these daily inspirations, I pray that God touches you through  my writings to guide you in where you need to be.  (Actually, I don't give myself no credit because this is all God using me to do this so thank you Lord)

Remember we  have to believe and trust Him, we have to be accountable for our own actions and we have to love one another.

Thank you all for praying with me and thank you God for giving me the wisdom and the grace to write this today.

Philippians 4: 6,7
Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with Thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.  Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Jesus Christ.
