being honest with others

Everybody should be honest with themselves and with others.  I’m going to explain to you why I feel honesty helps you in so many ways.  First of all, when you’re honest with yourself, you are being you and you don’t have to pretend for anybody.  Second of all, when you’re honest with others, they learn to accept you for you.  I don’t know about you but when I can be me all the time, I feel good.  I love communicating with people and every time I get a chance to speak, I’m honest.   I don’t care whether you like it or not.  I tell most of my friends that I will always be honest with them.  If it’s something that I say that hurt you or you don’t like, then I’m sorry.  I just can’t lie to you because if I do that, I will not be a good friend.
 
I love being honest because people get a chance to see the real me.  I can show people all the gifts and talents that God has given me and it’s wonderful to do that.  You see when we’re honest with ourselves; our gifts and talents are revealed.  If I tried to pretend and be something that I’m not, I can’t help anybody and I’m definitely not helping myself.  Every time we tell a lie or not be who we are, we hurt ourselves.  Some people are not true to themselves or others because they feel that people won’t accept them.  That’s the biggest lie in the world.  Don’t think about what other people feel.  God has blessed you with gifts and talents.  You need to be who he has made you to be.  Always be honest with others so that they will see what he has given you.  Go out into the real world and be honest everyday of your life.  You will feel at peace and know that you are you everywhere you go.

Honesty is the best way to be
Because everybody gets a chance to see
 
Life whether it’s good or bad
It helps us to deal with everything and to be glad
 
Some of us say things that are not true, why?
You can’t always justify a lie
 
Lying does nothing for the soul
Let’s be honest stay in control
 
This is your life speak truth in what you say
If others don’t like it, you don’t need them anyway
 
We are here to touch one another in everyway
How could you touch people if they don’t like what you have to say?
 
People need to accept you for you, that you must know
If they don’t, move on, there are other places to go
 
Know that God’s people are everywhere
Be honest with them it will show that you care
 
Always be honest and allow people to accept you for you.
