Feed your soul

In life, we do not know what will come our way but, we must deal with it all.  In dealing with it, we can either be negative or positive.   Being negative, does not help us at all but the human or flesh side of us get mad at times and it’s okay but we just have to know how to turn that negative into a positive.  The way to do this is to feed our soul with strength and joy from God.

It’s not easy sometimes to deal with things and a lot of times our trials are tough, and it is only by the grace of God that gets us through.  I know with me, I pray every day, I gather my thoughts with God’s grace to write wisdoms or daily inspirations and I thank God every morning and night for allowing me to be here another day and awaken with a second chance to live. I also listen to gospel music and most importantly, I look at my life and all the blessings that God has done and continues to do for me, my family and others around. I thank Him all the time for His Mercy on me. I try and make Him the core of my life in how I interact with people and carry myself.  Sometimes I fall, but with His strength I get back up and begin again. We all are different and what works for me, may not work for you but look deep within yourself and see how you can feed your soul because it’s very important to have joy and be at peace. 

God protects us, strengthens us and is always there to get us through situations. He just tells us to trust Him, have faith in Him, give Him our burdens and serve even when we must pick up the cross and walk with Him. That means sometimes we must deal with pain and sometimes life is not going to be good but when we see through His lenses, we can still have joy on our journey even through the different times.

Let us feed our soul by doing whatever it takes to refresh our relationship with God, spending time with Him and in turn have a joyful mind so that we can handle trials and tribulations that we encounter. Because if we think about it, we never would have made it this far without God.
