In life, we have to say what we mean and mean what we say. We communicate with people all the time and when we don’t do this, we end up hurting people or allowing people not to receive the grace. (And we end up hurting ourselves as well because it puts a pause on the growth within) I know we’re not responsible for other people lives or actions but we are responsible for what we do on our journey. When we don’t say things direct, the message is not clear and things are misunderstood.
At the same time when we communicate, we have to do it out of love and pray about things because the last thing we should want to do is hurt someone. If we’ve done that, we need to apologize to make amends with that person and learn from our mistakes. If the other person doesn’t want to accept, it’s not on you anymore but we should still pray about the situation. We should never think about ourselves but about The Body of Christ in how our actions will play out and at the same time, don’t let things bother us because we can’t control others. We all need improvement and we all are given grace but we’re here to help one another by lifting them up not bringing them down, When we say what we mean and mean what we say out of love, we all benefit and it gives hope to the world. Sometimes it’s hard for people to take rejection or constructive criticism but this is part of life and we all have to learn so don’t let that hold you back from doing the right thing. The bottom line is we all need each other (God first though) whether we like it or not because God said we’re The Body of Christ. It doesn’t matter if you’re black, white, purple or blue, we are one Body and we all are Children of God. Let’s learn to help one another and do it with respect, love and kindness as well as integrity.
