Wisdom is something that we all need in our lives. In Proverbs 4:6,7, it says
Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. Wisdom is supreme; therefore, get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. The bible refers to wisdom as a “she” but it’s pretty much understanding who God is, establishing a relationship with Him, accepting His grace and knowing how to love and depend on Him. Also, knowing why we’re here, our purpose and when to let go and let God. Sometimes we encounter various situations and it’s not easy to make decisions, to deal with tragedy or to not get stressed. It’s wisdom that teaches us that this life is about the mission set by God, about preparing ourselves for heaven and about allowing our light to shine to give hope. What we go through is temporary and a sacrifice. Jesus said “pick up the cross and walk with me” What do you think that means? Don’t get mad at the world when it’s uncomfortable but take it as a gift that God is working in your life. (Accept the sacrifice) That’s how we get joy and that’s how we get through situations. To me, wisdom is everything because we have to understand the importance of living, loving and forgiving. Things that happen in our lives are lessons to be learned for us to grow in the name of Jesus. Don’t let nobody tell you anything different. That’s what life is all about and when we gain wisdom, we’re at peace, we’re happy, we know who’s holding our hand and most importantly, we’re serving the mission and giving hope to the world. Let’s always know the importance of wisdom because without it, we’re pretty much setting ourselves back and not going forward. To learn wisdom is to gain a relationship with God and accepting His teaching and His grace through the Bible and through love because Jesus is Love. Ask God for wisdom and if you seek it, He will see you through. Tasha Cobbs Leonard - "God I Look To You" - YouTube Amen and Thank you Lord.
