Knowing where to draw the line

In communicating and interacting with people, we also have to protect ourselves.  We have to protect ourselves from pain and disappointment.  The only way to protect yourself is to be cautious when dealing with people.   We just can’t fully trust other people because we don’t know where their heart is.  People change and we have to always be prepared for change.
 
Now, I’m not saying don’t give people the benefit of doubt.  What I’m saying is be prepared if they hurt you.  How do you prepare for hurt?  You prepare for hurt by knowing that the devil is everywhere working overtime and not only is he trying to work in your life, he’s after other people as well.  This is so important to know because we allow people to hurt us and we live with pain all the time.  We can’t enjoy life if we’re still living with pain.  I know that pain hurts but you have to know that God gives us strength to overcome pain.  Nothing is impossible for God. 
 
We have to know where to draw the line with people and live our lives.  There are many good people out there so I’m not saying everybody is negative. I’m just being real and letting you know that there are bad people as well.  My point is: prepare yourself for disappointments when you deal with people.  You may not get hurt but at least if someone’s decides to stab you in the back, you’re ready.  Don't  hold grudges with others but just be cautious.  Always be ready for the unexpected and everything will be okay.  Know where to draw the line by observing people’s action.  Do this and you will always be ready for whatever.  Thank you Jesus. 
 
Always love people but in dealing with people, you need to learn how to not let their actions affect you.  Like I said before, there are many good people in this world but you just have to know where to draw the line before you get too involved.  Hold your own and know that God is the  one to trust.

TRUST
 
Trust is not easy to do
Because others have to show you
 
Their actions and what they are all about
It’s up to you to Trust without a doubt
 
We deal with people everyday
You have to make that decision in everyway

Actions speak better than words you see
Because you can tell who’s real and that’s the key
 
Remember if you trust, be prepared for pain
Because sometimes people are just insane
 
There are good and bad people in this world
Give everyone the benefit of the doubt and to be heard
 
It's good to socialize but stay alert
That way you can tell who’s real before you get hurt.
 
Trusting is not easy so be careful with your communication and know that people are people.  Don’t allow people to hurt you.  Know that people are entitled to do whatever they want.  Learn how to deal with people and hold your own.
