Sunday prayer

Let Us Pray,

Dear Lord, as we awaken to a new day, we would like to say “Thank You” for all that you do for us.  Lord, we know that in order to have peace, we need to put you first and know that you have a plan for our lives.  Lord, we’re living in a crazy world but we know that you are in the midst of it all and we still have to know who we are and listen to your wisdom to move in the right direction. 

Lord, please help us to know the importance of spending quality time with you and ourselves to revitalize our minds.  By doing this, we can take control over our lives and know that we have the power to make our day with your strength.  Lord, you give us the power to say and do whatever we want but it’s how we respond that allows us to have a good day or a bad day.  We know that it’s very important to have a positive attitude in order to control our day because people are always going to be people.  Lord, please help us to believe in ourselves so that we can walk with confidence to serve you more.  Even through our mistakes, we need help to know how to start over and begin again to a new life.  Lord, you know nobody is perfect and we will always have pain in our lives.  Please help us deal with pain so we can grow from it and be strong to take on trials that come before us.  Lord help us.
 
Lord, you know life is full of responsibilities and we have to know how to handle stress and sometimes it’s not easy.  Some of the things that we deal with are overwhelming and we really have to make sure we know that everything will be okay.  You taught us to keep hope alive and to never give up so please continue to hold our hand even when life is a mess.  Thank you Lord.
 
Lord, you are the one who gives us courage to live another day through anything and we are so grateful for your love and forgiveness.   Lord in saying all of this, we need you so much because each day is a new day and it’s a challenge to handle life sometimes but with your strength, we know we can do it.  We just have to accept it for what it is and have faith that you’re talking care of our burdens when life seems like it’s too much to handle.  Lord, we need to always know that we have to take one day at a time and have a joyful mind to serve you even through the battles.  Thank you so much God because without you we are truly nothing.  We love you and we thank you.  In Jesus Name We Pray.
