Thankful

Hello everyone,
 
I hope you have a great day and know that you’re blessed.  I just have to give God all of the praises and this week is reminding me how blessed we are to know God, to have someone who loves us and who’s always there to comfort us when we go through tough times.
 
Let’s take this week to reflect on how lucky we are to have God in our lives to show us how to have peace and joy even through the chaotic moments in our lives.  If you have time today, please read “Footprints in the sand” below, as well as the poem about being appreciative of God’s Grace.   Also, there's a link at the bottom of this message that have a beautiful meaning of why we are thankful. 
 
Footprints in the sand 

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the Lord

Scenes from his life flashed across the sky
and he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
one belonging to him and the other to the Lord.

When the last scene of his life had flashed before him,
he recalled that at the lowest and saddest times of his life
there was only one set of footprints

Dismayed, he asked, "Lord, you said that once I decided to 
follow you, you'd walk with me all the way.  I don't understand
why, when I needed you the most, you would leave me."

The Lord replied, "My precious child, I love you and I would 
never leave you.  During those times of trial and suffering
when you saw only one set of footprints....

Thanksgiving Poem
 
Thanksgiving is a time for love
To come together and to thank God up above
 
For all that He has done for us each and every day
We don't have to have much to thank Him in a very special way
 
We all are here to give hope and joy in all that we do
Always remember God appreciates you for just being you
 
Let's continue to love, forgive and so much more
We have to know what's important like never before
 
It's so much going on but God has us in the palm of His hands
Let's never give up but always get strength from God in order to stand
 
This is just a token to say "Thank You" to God for loving us in so many ways
I hope God continue to bless you in all of your days
