Hello everyone,
I hope all is well. This is a new day so let’s try to make it positive and productive. In Matthew 7:17, God said “JUST SO, EVERY GOOD TREE BEARS GOOD FRUIT, AND A ROTTEN TREE BEARS BAD FRUIT. A GOOD TREE CAN NOT BEAR BAD FRUIT AND A BAD TREE CAN NOT BEAR GOOD FRUIT. Let’s talk about how that relates to our own lives. We all were given life as a gift, and we all are living life differently and doing it the best way we know how at the time. We live each day learning and making mistakes so that we grow for our light to shine. We all have responsibilities, and we make good or bad choices. It depends on where we are in life. This journey that we live was given by God to prepare ourselves to be better and help others along the way. We make our day, and we can either be positive or negative. Everything we do has an effect on someone so how we live our lives sets the bar for our journey. Life can be chaotic at times, but this is why we always have to stay connected to the vine so that we can gain strength from God to display good actions. Life can be stressful because the devil is on a mission and if we’re not connected to God, we will fall. Most of the time, we put stress on our own lives but instead at times, we blame others for what goes on in our lives. The reality is God gives us the tools to bear good fruit but if we don’t choose to utilize His virtues then we can’t complain about what happens in our lives. It’s critical that we take time out for ourselves and spend some quality time with God so that we can prepare our minds to be our own person to see through God's lenses. Sometimes we let others distract us but when we spend that quality time with ourselves, we can hear God, we can see clearly, and we can work towards doing what we’re suppose to do for the entire Body of Christ. (Bearing good fruit) Bearing good or bad fruit is a choice and in bearing good fruit, there comes sacrifice because it doesn’t come easy. In order to bear good fruit, we have to give of ourselves more and walk with the cross. That sometimes means forgiving, loving, and just not making life about us; dealing with things to better a situation and not pointing the finger at others. When we don’t’ bear good fruit, we’re stressed and at times don’t know which way to turn. When we bear good fruit, we know where we’re going, we have accepted whatever comes before us and we trust God to work in our lives for the good. What I’m saying is, we’re free to do whatever we want to do in life and bearing good or bad fruit is a choice. Either we want to be happy or sad. The beauty in bearing good fruit is it helps us all and people can see Jesus through our actions and bearing bad fruit is putting a pause on our lives and not prospering to have joy one day at a time. So, in saying all of that, we have a choice in what we want to do in life. All I can say is at some point, we get tired of being tired and like God said in Matthew 7:17, a good tree cannot bear bad fruit, but a bad tree cannot bear good fruit so let’s make wise decisions so that we can have peace and not be miserable on our journey. Let’s practice good virtues like compassion, love, forgiveness, hope, honesty, patience, and humility so that we can bear good fruit. Amen and Thank Your Lord

Hello everyone,
I hope everybody had a good weekend and ready to challenge a new week and a new day. God is good all the time and even though we encounter trials on our journey, we’re still blessed. Today we’re going to talk about acceptance because sometimes things happen on our journey and it’s very important that we accept life as it comes to us and do what we can when we can at the time. Everything we go through is a part of life, we can’t control what happens in all situations and it’s important that we allow God to work in our lives by accepting what comes our way. God has a plan, and He knows what goes on in our day and what’s going to happen before it happens so trust God and know that He’s still in control. As difficult as things can be, we have to still trust Him because He’s guiding us and moving us on our journey. If we don’t have control over something, why worry and why get stressed out? God knows what we go through and He’s the one holding our hand even through the darkest times in our lives. When we accept day to day life, we’re able to be dependent on Him and allow Him to move us on the right path because we really don’t know His plan. When we think we know everything, is when our lives become a hot mess. If it’s something we done, ask for forgiveness and know that God has forgiven you. We can’t take back yesterday but we can make today better. Sometimes good comes out of bad situations and I know that’s true because when I look back on my life, I realize that if some situations did not take place. I wouldn’t be where I am today. Amen and Thank You Lord. Let’s humble ourselves, by accepting life as it comes and continue to pray to God for strength to accept the things that we can't change so that we can move to the next level on our journey. Please enjoy the poem below regarding Acceptance: Acceptance Accept the circumstances of today We don’t know what tomorrow may bring anyway We should enjoy every moment as if it was the last Because life could be taken away in a flash We witness that every day by seeing people die They don’t have another chance to say good-bye We have been blessed because we’re still here Jesus said “come to Him because the time is near Don’t worry about what you’re to eat or where you’re to sleep Today is enough to handle and it’s yours to keep Accept whatever comes your way Don’t waste time not enjoying the day Give your burdens to me I’ve already paid the price I’m forgiving, loving and very, very nice Don’t hold on to things by feeling sad This is a new day, rejoice and be glad Worrying doesn’t do anything for the soul Because I make the calls & I’m in control Sit back and be still, I have a plan Accept what it is & let me hold your hand.” Amen and Thank You Lord Hello everyone,
Yesterday, I talked about the importance of strength and faith and today it’s appropriate to talk about wisdom because it aligns with those topics. The definition of wisdom is the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgement. Wisdom is the key to help us progress in life on a positive note with making good decisions to benefit all of us. It’s basically knowing how to make the right choices to better a situation to help ourselves and others. That’s my definition in a nutshell. There are so many bible verses that talk about wisdom but one that sticks to me is the one that tells us if we find wisdom, we better hold on to it. I listed it at the bottom of this message. Why do you think He says that? I think because when we make decisions without wisdom, we mess up our path and direction and we cause stress to others including ourselves. We don’t know it all but we learn and God helps us to understand. For me, I have to pray to make sure I’m understanding things because sometimes we think we know what’s up and we don’t. Wisdom is growing in God and developing a relationship with Him one day at a time. It’s also choosing to follow Him, listening to His word and learning how to fight the battle on our journey. Wisdom is truly a gift because it allows us to not think about ourselves but more about building The Body of Christ. Amen to that because that’s what it’s all about. It’s also like being educated in a field and knowing what to do, how to do it and how it will help situations now and later. Wisdom is knowledge. For example, we know that God tells us to love, forgive and treat people the way we want to be treated. If we’re in a situation where God allows us to practice the virtue of love, we should do it because it will show the love that God has for us and the joy of His grace. If we don’t, stress will come, and no one will get peace out of anything. We learn wisdom also by going through the struggles, suffering the consequences, and wanting others to not deal with some of the trials and tribulations that we encountered on our journey. Let’s continue to utilize wisdom in our lives so that we can help each other get through situations and let’s pray to God for understanding the benefit of wisdom. Please enjoy Proverbs Chapter 3 that talks about wisdom below as well as a poem that talks about it as well. Proverbs Chapter 3 - The Value of Wisdom 13 Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding, 14 for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. 15 She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. 16 Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. 17 Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. 18 She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her; those who hold her fast will be blessed. 19 By wisdom the LORD laid the earth’s foundations, by understanding he set the heavens in place; 20 by his knowledge the watery depths were divided, and the clouds let drop the dew. 21 My son, do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight, preserve sound judgment and discretion; 22 they will be life for you, an ornament to grace your neck. 23 Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble. 24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. 25 Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, 26 for the LORD will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared. 27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act. 28 Do not say to your neighbor, “Come back tomorrow and I’ll give it to you”— when you already have it with you. 29 Do not plot harm against your neighbor, who lives trustfully near you. 30 Do not accuse anyone for no reason— when they have done you no harm. 31 Do not envy the violent or choose any of their ways. 32 For the LORD detests the perverse but takes the upright into his confidence. 33 The LORD’s curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the righteous. 34 He mocks proud mockers but shows favor to the humble and oppressed. 35 The wise inherit honor, but fools get only shame. WISDOM Wisdom only comes from God If you don’t have wisdom, life will be hard All of us have been given life For a purpose and to fight the fight The fight for God to walk with the cross We have to know who’s in charge and who’s the boss The boss is God. He helps us all To get through life and to stand up tall It’s not easy to hold the cross and walk Because the devil is on a mission and he does talk The devil will tell you all kinds of lies So that you will get stressed and not rise To the top in doing what God wants you to do His will, you know that’s true I know sometimes you feel down Wisdom will lift you up and turn that around It will allow you to smile when things are tough And teach you how to have joy through all life stuff If you have a desire for peace in your life Ask God for wisdom and be prepared to fight Life challenges when you go through pain Know that God is with you and HE will help you gain. Amen, Amen and Amen. Thank You Lord Hello everyone,
I hope all is well. We’re going to talk out strength and faith. It’s very important that we understand how to gain strength and how to hold on to our lives. Let’s be real, we all have times when we’re just tired of things. We’re human and we have to learn how to be strong and know where to get strength from, how to utilize our faith and to walk with the cross with all of the things that come before us. It’s only by the grace of God that we’re able to make it through the next day. We have to prepare ourselves in life because sometimes things that happen on our journey feel like it’s too much to handle. Sometimes, we wear so many hats doing this and that and most of the time it’s things that we have to do. It’s very important that we take some time out even if it’s for 10 or 15 minutes a day to relax our mind and soul because the time doesn’t stop, and life goes on and on even without us. The key is knowing how to deal with it all and knowing where to go to get strength in order to hold on and not give up. Strength is like peace it only comes from God. I say this because God said in John 15:5 without Him we can do nothing. That’s true because we’re human and temptation is real. We were born weak and sinners so the struggles that we go through, help us to become stronger and wiser. This reminds me of the caterpillar. How do you think it becomes a butterfly? It goes through pain and suffering in its cocoon. If the cocoon opens before it’s ready, it won’t be able to fly. If the caterpillar can’t fly, it has to crawl all of its life. If we’re not patient or don’t put in effort through the storms, we will always have major issues in our lives. We need to know where to get strength from when we’re in the struggles or bad times. When we look up to God, we prosper, and we grow to be better people and an example of Jesus. Sometimes when we do things that make our lives easier, we hurt ourselves. For example, when we hold grudges and don’t forgive. It only hurts us in the long run because we’re not preparing ourselves for the storms to come and if your life is anything like mine, you will get a similar situation and peace will never come until you know how to do what’s right through God’s lenses. People will always be people and we have to let them be people because they are here to grow just like we are on this journey. We all have to walk with the cross that means going through it all and coming out on top with Jesus. Amen The bottom line is we need to trust God and gain strength from him each and every day. When we do that, we’re able to hold on to life and know how to deal with stress. Our faith is everything and we have to remember that God said He will never leave us so just hold on and everything will be alright. It’s really a joyful thing to do because God gave us life and each day is a new beginning. Life is a challenge but with God on our side, it’s really a blessing. Let’s continue to gain strength from the Lord and when we’re going through something, let go and let God. Please read the poems below that relates to strength and faith. STRENGTH Strength is a wonderful gift you see You will need strength every day to be The person that God chose for you To stand up tall and to do Wonderful deeds for him To help others to win not sin Salvation, happiness, joy and love Are so important from God up above Life is a gift, choose to be glad Not weary, mad or even sad It’s difficult sometimes to get through pain But strength is so important to gain You will feel low at times Keep your head held high with God on your mind Strength comes from the most high Isn’t it wonderful to be blessed even when we cry? Each experience in life is like a voice God is telling you, learn from it, move on, that’s your choice We live our own lives and strength is the key To get through all things and have peace eternally FAITH Life is full of ups and downs Sometimes there are smiles and sometimes there are frowns It all depends on what we’re going through We just don’t know what we will do I want to tell you that each day is new Don’t waste your time worrying, God will get you through Life is a mystery don’t try to figure it out Just know that God is here, that’s no doubt When situations come your way & you don’t know what to do Talk to God & ask Him to guide you Have faith in Him and know that He’s holding your hand He’s always there because He has a plan It doesn’t matter what the situation may be Put your worries in His book & you will see The burdens lifted & you may not understand Because He works miracles, He is the man He’s forgiving, caring & loving to us all He always answers when we call We are his children & He looks after us too He said “have faith in me I will never, never leave you” Amen and Thank You Lord. I said it before that life is all about serving and giving hope. In order to serve, we have to find ourselves, know who we are and have confidence in what God has made. A lot of times, people are living for others, trying to please for the wrong reasons and not doing what he or she is supposed to be doing to grow within.
When I say finding ourselves, I mean knowing why we’re here, what’s important in God’s eyes, knowing where we came from and who we are as a person. It’s very important that we know our identity so that we can walk with Jesus on our journey. We are the Body of Christ, and we all are different and unique. We have different cultures and backgrounds, but God gave all of us the same mission to love and be an example of Him. God loves us and He wants us to have confidence in ourselves and know who we are within so that we can serve. The goal of life is to serve and to work towards holiness so if we don’t know who we are, how can we do that? We will fall short every time. It’s good to take a reality check within because we all need it and it’s not a bad thing. Some of us have gone through a lot and sometimes change is a challenge, but we have to be strong and keep it going. We can’t get caught up on why did this and that happened but instead ask ourselves, where do we go from here in order to continue to serve? What’s important in God’s eyes is are we loving one another, are we treating people the way we want to be treated, are we forgiving and putting Him first because all of this will help us in the long run as well. That’s a start with finding ourselves and our purpose. Where we came from is knowing our culture and accepting who we are because we all are important and have a reason to be here. Knowing who we are as a person, is work every day because we have to grow to be the light for all to see Jesus in us. Overall, God gave us a duty and purpose. Knowing who we are and how we can connect to that purpose is how we learn to live on this journey. We all need to connect in order to Build the Body and grow within. It’s not about what we’ve done but about how are we going to keep going in walking with Jesus. In life, we don’t have time to be going backwards but work towards going forward in dealing with people and ourselves. People are learning as well as we are everyday to grow within and we can’t judge but make our own decisions to grow and be that light because we all have trials and tribulations and until we find ourselves and know what’s really important, we will not have peace and we will be looking for others to live our lives. All of us have a story to tell so let’s live our own journey so that we can give hope to the world and people can remember the story of Jesus in us. Again, finding ourselves is growing in the name of Jesus so that we can deal with trials in order to keep going in living out the mission set by God. Please see the poem that I wrote below about trials: Trials Trials prepare you to do What God has chosen for you Don’t fall when storms come your way Stand up tall, talk to God and say “God, this is your will and I want you to know I’m working for you and that is so Do unto me as you like I know you’re with me in this fight You didn’t bring this trial before me for nothing You allowed me to go through this trial for something God, sometimes it’s hard and I need you to hold my hand To get through this trial according to your plan You told me that you will be there, that I know You also told me that trials help me to grow.” Let’s find ourselves so that we can grow, deal with life and make a difference in the world. Amen and Thank You Jesus When we give and receive, we’re giving back to God and doing the mission that He gave to us. He gives us so much, His love, His forgiveness, and His mercy. He does that every day, every hour, and every moment. We receive it by accepting His grace to know that He’s by our side all the time and He protects us, guides us, walks with us, talks with us and when we go through things, He tells us to give Him our burdens so that He can give us rest. Amen and Thank You Lord.
On our journey, there’s always something but for some reason, God always gets us through. Jesus died on the cross so that we may live. He’s already paid the price so let’s not worry but have joy to know that whatever happens in our day, Jesus is holding our hand and is right beside us. I always say life could be worse because the world is too much at times, but God continues to bless us with whatever comes our way. WE MUST REMEMBER THAT GOD KNOWS THINGS BEFORE IT HAPPENS. HE HAS A PLAN FOR OUR LIVES AND SOMETIMES WE HAVE TO GO THROUGH SOME THINGS TO GET STRONGER AND WISER. When we have faults, He forgives us and gives us a second chance to begin again. He tells us that we are His children, and He loves us so much. We shouldn’t worry about things because when we have tough times, God steps right in to comfort us, hug us, and tell us that’s it’s all good. When we hold on through the battle, we will see the victory in every situation. When we go through the battle, it’s not our battle, it’s the Lords. If anyone says anything different, please know that it’s a lie because God knows everything we go through and what comes before us. The bottom line is we all are broken, and we will make mistakes. The world is designed to help us go through things to strengthen our faith so that we can grow in the name of Jesus. God teaches us wisdom to understand how to deal with life, but we have to want it in order to live a joyful and peaceful life. Our lives are not peaches and cream, but about sacrifice and love. When we’re comfortable on our journey, we’re not where we need to be. Let’s trust and thank God through the good and the bad because those are the times when we’re growing and serving one another. Let’s always remember this: When we’re uncomfortable, that’s when we can clearly see God working in our lives and being comfortable is when we feel joy and peace in the uncomfortable. Amen, Amen and Amen. Thank You Lord. In life, we have to give and receive in order to see the beauty of God’s work and we all do it differently. We have to give love and forgiveness as well as receive it from others. Sometimes when we hurt, it’s harder because we really don’t understand why we had to go through that, but this is when we just need to be humble, open up our inner selves and trust God. The goal of life is to help as many people as we can to be a light in someone’s darkness.
At times, we have to go the extra mile with others. We know that this life is not about us so if we know the mission to serve, we should understand why it’s a need to do what is important in life. God is working in our lives all the time; miracles happen and sometimes we don’t even see God’s goodness because we’re so caught up in ourselves. We all make mistakes but the important part of that is admitting to our faults and trying to do what’s best for everyone. It’s never about what we go through, it’s all about how we handle situations with integrity and love. God wants to move us on our journey to serve and be better people, but we have to be able to receive His grace and be open to loving unconditionally. Our today should always be better than yesterday if we accept God’s grace, do His will and humble ourselves to serve. Amen and Thank You Lord God said in John 15:5, “I AM THE VINE, YOU ARE THE BRANCHES. WHOEVER REMAINS IN ME AND I IN HIM WILL BEAR MUCH FRUIT, BECAUSE WITHOUT ME YOU CAN DO NOTHIING”
That’s really the premise in what I’m going to talk about today. If we really take our time to think about that verse, it makes perfect sense. This is God’s home, and we are living under His roof. He created the world, and He has been so amazing to allow us to live in His house. He is the vine, and we are the branches. It’s just like knowing how a plant survives. If we don’t give the plant water, it will die. If we don’t keep our relationship with God refreshed, our lives will diminish. If we don’t give the plant new soil, how can it stay rooted to live? The leaves will fall and eventually they disconnect themselves from the plant. If we don’t nourish our bodies with the word, how can we keep standing because temptation is around us all the time. We will fall and it will be very hard to get back up. A branch is only good when it’s connected. We are only good when we are connected to God. A friend of mine told me that when we don’t stay connected, we establish bad habits and our hearts become cold. We don’t realize how we’re living or how we treat others. Bless His Soul. You see, if we don’t get it together, eventually, we will be rooted into things that will not help us to prosper but take us to a dead-end road. We will disconnect ourselves from the vine and lose the strength to hold on in life. When we’re connected, we gain peace and joy. Life can be a lot at times but it’s when we’re connected that we’re able to handle tough situations. I know we all go through things, and we all have problems, but God also said give me your burdens and I will give you rest. This is when we bear much fruit and see the works of God when we’re connected to Him. We really can’t do anything without Him because the flesh is weak, and we are weak when we don’t rely on God. Basically, it’s a choice and according to what He said in John 14:6 “I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE”, He doesn’t make us to do anything that we don’t want to do but teaches us to know what will help to grow and be able the handle life. It’s really a choice. Below is a poem that I wrote about choices, and it breaks it down to what we want in life. Please read the poem and do a little reflection on life and how that would apply to you. It helps me a lot and all I can say is “Thank You Lord” CHOICE We were given this life to live each day Try and enjoy life in a peaceful way God gave us life to be happy in all ways We should learn to have joy in all of our days Joy comes from peace you see God said you have to choose HIM in order to be A peaceful child of God to show How we get through trials with a special glow The glow that shines for all to see The beauty of Life that He gave you and me Choosing Him will definitely benefit others around Others will see the glow and you will hear the sound The peaceful sound to know that He’s the one That helps you get through tough times until it’s done When life gets tough, who are you going to call? You will need someone to lean on when you fall God will tell you “That’s life, I told you so Learn from Me and I will help you to grow In wisdom and courage to get through pain Trust in ME and you will always gain” It’s your decision and you have two choices you see Now who are you going to follow Satan or ME? Amen and Thank you Lord. Hello everyone,
I hope all is well and everyone is having a good day. We all are living on our journey trying to do the best that we know how. There are three important qualities that will help us to have good days while on our journey and they are: Loving God, Loving Yourself and Loving People. This is what will help us serve better, be the person that God wants us to be and be an image of Jesus Christ. It’s very important that we are living our lives with integrity and being an example for God because that’s the mission set by Him to be disciples. Otherwise, we’re going to have some bad days on our journey. For me, loving God is the first step because God said without Him, we are nothing. We experience that when stress comes, and when our lives become a mess. God teaches us wisdom and help us to understand things so that we can serve. Loving God has helped me to try each day to be a better person even through my faults. I have gained a relationship with Him, and He has taught me to have faith, give Him my burdens and trust Him through all things. He also taught me to have confidence in myself and love me so that’s very important because He’s working in our lives, and we have to stand up for ourselves and at times for what’s right and just to benefit the Body of Christ. In loving God and loving ourselves, we have to learn to love people through it all as well because we all have something that we’re going through and we all need each other. It’s very important to love people unconditional because people need hope, and we really don’t know what people are going through. The whole purpose of living is to serve and to be the light so if we’re not loving people, how can they see Jesus in us? Sometimes we think we know it all and don’t even know where we’re going. I say this all the time that it’s not about us and we all need to refresh our relationship with God daily because when we don’t treat people the way we want to be treated, we damage the body and put a pause on our lives. It’s just that simple. Sometimes life may seem like everything is good but when we don’t follow Him, we’re headed for destruction. Let’s learn to know what’s important in life and be the person that God has called us to be so that we can have joyful days one day at a time. Amen and Thank You Lord Hello everyone, I hope all is well. Today, I’m going to piggyback on what I mentioned yesterday about being a vessel and how that benefit us to gain peace. I think we all want peace but there’s a sacrifice to pay to get peace. It doesn’t come just like that because we all go through good and bad times on our journey. Life comes with a package and we as people have to know how to deal with what’s in the package in order to gain peace and have joy.
The package that we carry contains things like stress, pain, trials, love, forgiveness, patience and so much more. Once we know how to deal with what’s in the package, we can gain peace. We must know that PEACE ONLY COMES FROM GOD. We can’t get it from anyone else and if we think we can, we’re in denial. God is love and the way to have peace is to love through every situation. If you think about it, if we love, we don’t expect anything from anyone and we are just sharing God’s unconditional love as well as His grace and mercy. When we deal with stress, think about God and His love, if we deal with pain, think about how Jesus died on the cross so that we may live and if we think about forgiveness, think about how God forgives us for our wrongdoing all the time. I can go on and on and on and when we take a step back and think about these things with patience, we will learn to TRUST GOD and share His goodness. As you can see, there are sacrifices on our journey but when we practice some of those important virtues, we will know how to deal with life on a daily basis. Again, a peaceful life does not just happen, it’s built daily with love, sacrifice, patience, grace and forgiveness. Once we know that, PEACE WILL COME ONE DAY AT A TIME. AMEN AND THANK YOU LORD |
